nice looking but LEAKS I love the design and the thermal hugger but this bottle LEAKS. However, since i have medela nipples and by replacing it, then the bottle doesn't leak. Also, you get 3 bottles but only one thermal hugger. So, if you don't have other nipples and tops that prevent this bottle from leaking, I would NOT recommend this bottle.

Quiet, easy to use, and so gosh darn CUTE!
I got the penguin humidifier a week ago after researching multiple brands, some expensive ones, filter ones, big ones, warm ones, etc. And I read the reviews about it leaking or breaking on this one, and essentially there was some complaint on just about every brand out there--always a few problems. So for the $30 this one cost (and the fact that it is ridiculously adorable!) it seemed to cover what I needed: something that was not expensive, not too large and bulky, smaller reservoir so more fresh water going through it (and less water sitting around getting ookey) and would add humidity where ever it was.
It has been running almost non-stop for a week, minus filling times or when we were out, and has worked perfectly. The body reservoir, even when running on high, has lasted at least 16 hours. I haven't had problems with white dust on everything like my old-fashioned gigantic noisy one (I use tap water), and it doesn't spray water drops out with the mist either. It definitely made a difference running at night in the bedroom--no noses and throats feeling 'dry as dust' in the AM. The penguin has a small footprint, about 9" diameter and 12.75" tall. It runs almost silently BUT it does make a trickling noise and actually sounds like our tabletop fountain. It's a nice sound during the day but wore on me during the night; I wasn't used the sound and I kept thinking it's leaking when it wasn't. So now I run it for a while before bed and I sleep much better all around.
Things to watch out for though... the reservoir opening where you fill it, there is a screw-on cap with a spring-valve (like what's at the bottom of your coffee maker basket). There should be a silicone O-ring that fits in the top of the cap. Our O-ring was inside the opening, and since it was clear-ish could be easily missed. The O-ring could cause the cap to leak if not seated properly and the cap needs to be tightened snuggly. When filled and righted (there's even a little handle to carry it by) it should only drip slightly out of the spring-valve. Check that nothing is clogging the spring-valve by pressing it in (before filling) and that the flap is not folded. Only use COLD water in the reservoir, and if you boiled water WAIT for it to be room temp before using. Using hot water could definitely cause this plastic to crackle and crack. The body must sit squarely on the 'butt' or it can dribble over the side a tiny bit.
We have had absolutely no problems with this little cutie, and if I do I'll update my posting. It has a nice rocker on-off switch on his 'left butt cheek'. It has a dial on the front (I'll call it his bellybutton) to adjust the amount of mist; even on high he doesn't drip. The mist dial doesn't seem to affect the fountain noise at all; i.e. the lesser misting does not lessen any gurgling it does. A great little design and it does the job!
quiet, efficient and cute!
This frog humidifier is wonderful. I'm so glad I finally decided to get one after reading reviews on it since last winter. Unlike this picture, the actual product is a true Granny Smith apple green, or some might call it lime green.

-no expensive filter required. (my Holmes humidifier requires a new $13 filter about every 6 weeks)

CONS
-tiny green light is on when humidifier is in use and I persoanlly like a very dark bedroom at night. I just tape a dark piece of paper over it and problem solved. But it can also be a night light for a child's room.
-must be on a nightstand or some sort of elevated surface. Some people might not have that room to spare.
-it may be TOO cute and irresitible for little ones to keep their hands off it at first. But the newness wears off.

NOT good for long term use I've had this humidifier for many months. It does what it is supposed to do which is humidify the air. It's cute. It works consistently. That is what the 2 stars are for.
I subtracted three stars because of the cleaning. It is almost impossible to properly clean.
The WELL: There are many nooks and crannies in the well that defy cloths and sponges, and even when you use vinegar to disinfect (as recommended) there remains a distressing yellowish stain in the corners and around the floater(?) that you just can't reach.
The WATER TANK: If there is a way to clean the tank I have not found it. I have pushed, pulled, screwed ... nothing allows you to remove the base and clean it. And it needs to be cleaned! Because the water sits in the tank for hours at a time, sediments deposit on the floor. This is natural. It is also natural for this sludge to become a breeding ground for the bacteria that the instructions warn you about. And you can't clean it. I do the vinegar thing here too, but my eyes (and the yellow stain) tell me that the tank isn't clean. I suppose the fact that the water is cool and not heated contributes to this situation as well.
I do not recommend this humidifier to anyone for the reasons stated above. If Crane can find a way to allow for proper cleaning and/or introduce an element to eliminate bacteria, then go for it. Otherwise, purchase another.
Wonderful cool-mist humidifier!
This humidifier is the perfect size for a bedroom. The tank empties in about a day, so the water doesn't sit around too long to get mildew or mold. The humidifier puts out lots of moisture, and is absolutely whisper-quiet! We have the penguin-shaped one for our son's room, and this one for ours. Both are great.
Super quiet
We bought the Vicks cool mist humidifier first. it was so noisy in the nursery that we didn't use it when our daughter was sleeping. We bought this one hoping that it would be a little more quite. We can't even hear it! It also takes up very little space and is easy to fill in the shallow bathroom sink. Awesome purchase. worth the extra $.

Best toddler straw cups so far We have a 3 y.o. daughter and 15-month-old son, and because neither took to sippy cups, we have been through a LOT of straw cups. Compared to similar plastic-with-silicone-straw types in the same price range, these are by the far the best in terms of straw durability, leakage (lack of, that is) and ease of cleaning and they are the only ones we use now. The lowdown:
Construction:
1. The cups are insulated which is nice, esp when toting around milk, but the insulation isn't fantastic. For good insulation, I highly recommend the Foogo thermos cups by Thermos, once your child is old enough (it's metal, and therefore, heavy and also much more expensive than the plastic ones). But taking into consideration this cup is plastic, the insulation is decent.
2. BPA free, which is also nice.
Cleaning:
3. The straw comes in 3 parts, which is typical, but they are easy to assemble with each other and the rest of the cup, which is atypical. This makes it easy to clean, esp since it is dishwasher safe. The only thing is, because the bottom straight part falls easily through the dishwasher basket, you have to assemble it with the middle part to give it some girth and after you take it out of the dishwasher, it's usually full of water. You just have to be sure to detach, and release the water right away or the water starts to smell pretty nasty.
Durability:
4. The best part of this cup is the silicone top of the straw assembly. My kids have bitten through every single silicone straw out there, but this one has endured. That alone gives it 4+ stars in my book.
5. 1 out of 4 cups did crack on the outside after being thrown off a high chair for the 10000000000th time. Not bad.
Leakage:
6. Sometimes, the bottom part of the straw comes loose from the middle part, and then there is leakage. Otherwise, no stupid marks to line up EXACTLY with holes (like with the Munchkin brand) and is otherwise PRETTY leak-proof.
There is the same flaw you see with other straw cups: the liquid bubbling up through the straw when sitting out at room temp and the inevitable spray of liquid when opening. I think because of the insulation, it might be worse with this cup than with the others but considering the pros, I would highly recommend this cup as my toddler straw cup of choice.
Love it!
We love these cups! We used them with our daughter starting when she was 9 mon. old and we still use them almost a year later. She loves them, they clean fairly easily for a non-spill cup. When sealed properly we have no leaking problems. The other thing we like are the designs, no cartoon characters! This is a great product for any household with toddlers.

Very Useful I use this when I travel with my child. Because I use glass bottles, I need a bottle hugger to prevent them from bumping into each other inside the bag. It was very useful to me and I would recommend it to anyone who uses glass bottles. Price is also very reasonable and not hard at all to put it on and off the bottle. Added feature which I was not expecting when I bought it...it does keep the milk warm during winter. Of course not for a long time but for the price you're paying, it's worth it. Very nice colors and easy to wash.
They serve their purpose
These bottle covers serve their purpose and give you some peace of mind. However, I would prefer to leave me kid alone with a sippy cup rather than a covered bottle simply because the former does not leak when left in the hands of a toddler.

Great replacement option! Our daughter chewed through a handful of her Nudy spouts and my wife and I were upset at the notion of having to throw the whole cup away to buy new ones. Nuby doesn't offer the replacement spouts in any stores around us, so we were very happy to find that we could buy them on Amazon and save a few bucks. The product arrived quickly and we are very pleased with their quality. I don't know if the replacement spouts are tougher or if my daughter has moved out of the 'chewing phase', but so far after a month she has yet to chew through any of the new ones.
BEWARE-Not like the old spouts
The new spouts are NOT like the old spouts, I just bought new cups and they don't let enough air into the cup, so the nipple inverts into the cup when the child is sucking liquid from it. So every few seconds, the lid has to be removed to allow air back in, the nipple returns to normal position and then lid put back on. My son doesn't really like them anymore because it is too hard for him. I compared his old with his new and they changed them, WHY?!?!?!?! They were great before.
Nuby makes the BEST sippy cups
These tops are not as soft/flexible as the original tops that came with the sippy cups when I bought them, and that is why they only get four stars from me. However, Nuby sippy cups were the ONLY sippy cups I could get my daughter to use when we were transitioning her from a bottle to a sippy cup. The soft top make the transition very easy. She's four years old and she's still using these.

A big help ... I started wearing the Mini Cradle two weeks ago and have noticed a significant improvement in stomach and back pain. It's the smartest $15 I've ever spent!
The only reason I give it four stars (rather than five) is because I think the sizing recommendations are off. I'm currently 35 weeks pregnant, weigh 135 pounds at 5'6", and am wearing the size small belt. It fits, but I'm wearing it on the largest setting and still have indentations on my stomach when I take it off. I can't imagine that it would comfortably fit someone at the high end of the recommended weight range (136 - 180 lbs). I definitely recommend the product, but would suggest sizing up if you're not at the low end of a weight range.
Too Small
I ordered a size small, and it's too small (even on the largest setting). The other reviews indicating that the belt runs small are correct. Except that I *just* hit 130 pounds, and their "small" size says it goes from "136 - 180 lbs". It is ridiculous that their sizes should be *that* inaccurate. I'm returning it, and going to buy one in a store that I can try on.
This works
I was having lots of lower back and ligament pain as my bump grew from 30 weeks onwards. I bought this at 34 weeks and now I don't go anywhere without it. Not very comfortable when sitting down, but I didn't buy it for that. I used be in lots of pain after walking for maybe half a mile, it reduced considerably with the belt. Highly recommend it. You might want to buy one size up as mentioned in other reviews. The chart recommended small for me but I bought the medium and its perfect.

If only it were larger
I liked the idea of having a messenger-style diaper bag as opposed to the more prevalent tote-styles. The Diaper Dude bag is ok, but there are a few items that would make it better for my needs.
My biggest wish is that the main compartment were larger. It's fairly small and when we put in all the things we'd like to carry, the bag gets stuffed and becomes somewhat misshapen to the point where it lays awkward on my hip and back. I tend to carry portable wipes, 4-5 diapers, 1-2 change of clothes, a hat, a blanket, a sippy cup, a snack trap, a couple of toys, my cell phone and keys. Because I can't find a place for everything, the main inside compartment is a mishmash of unorganized items.
The cell phone holder does a fine job holding my LG flip phone. A bigger phone however wouldn't fit, but $15 for a Timbuk2 cell phone case would solve that. Also, the elasticized bottle pocket is pretty snug so getting a bottle in and out is kinda tough. On the other hand, the bottle doesn't fall out accidentally.
Additionally, the dirty diaper pocket in the large compartment should probably have a zipper to keep the smell out of the other items in the bag and avoid cross contamination. The hooks for keys and pacifiers would probably only hold keys. The pacifiers being sold these days aren't on a ring and are much too big to be hooked onto the bag. The included changing pad is padded nicely though.
Overall, it's a decent bag, especially at Amazon.com prices. Someone in our play group has complimented me twice on the bag so I may just give it away to them or keep it as a backup bag. I recently ordered a DadGear messenger diaper bag for nearly the same price and am hoping that it holds all my items better.
Comfortable, convenient, mid-sized bag
This bag is very comfortable to wear, and the size and location of the zippered pockets in the front, the snap-closure pocket on the back, and the pockets in the larger main compartment makes it easy to keep things organized and easy to find. We've only been using the bag for a few weeks, so I can't speak to its durability, but the construction appears solid, and the zippers work easily.
The only negatives are the smallish mobile phone holder (won't hold anything much bigger than a standard flip phone), and the fact that the interior is lined in black, which makes it harder to see items in the bag. (Many baby bag manufacturers have moved to a light-colored interior lining for this reason. It makes it much easier to see what's in the bottom of your bag.) These are relatively minor issues, though, and overall the bag is very well designed and convenient to use. It's very helpful that everything is accessible without having to take the bag off or set it down (unlike a backpack-style diaper bag, for example).
This bag is definitely on the small side for a diaper bag, though. We have two kids, 1 and 4 years old, and this bag is good for a trip to the park for a couple of hours or something like that, but too small for our family to use to take the kids to grandpa's house for a whole day. If you want a bag that's small and comfortable to wear for shorter trips, though, this is a good choice.
Best bag ever!
I bought this bag for my husband as a surprise (as I had bought another brand, and he did not like the Asian floral print). It's very roomy, looks great, fits ergonomically. I really love the pocket design and the space that they have, as well as the interior design. Fits things better than my own bag! My husband loves it and can't wait to use it! Plus that, this is the best price I've seen online, and of course, Amazon ships quickly and accurately.
